So this is just a start.
I don't have a B.K. Butler Tube Driver.
My '68 Plexi has the .68uF cap on V2 which gives a good gain boost, but still needs more push to get that legato level of gain.
Enter the MXR CAE Boost (clean boost) to get the amp to the correct level of gain.
Sounds great, but what is missing is the mids. So what I'm going to test is adding an EQ with mids boosted and see what gets me.
