ULAK Tone Theory (Blend 68 Plexi w Rockman Sustainor) - I Need To Try This

Post by lll »

There's definitive proof Geo. used Rockman gear for a period of time.

I happen to have an X100B, and 5 Rockmodules.

So, I have all the gear here in this quote:
George used the same rig from Under lock and key... He used and a 68 plexi "Dimed" in the center and a Rockman 100 stereo amp panned hard left and right...3 channel's blended in the studio....Killer sound...Love it...By the way if you think about it while listening to both of those albums, you can hear the Tom Sholtz Rockman 100 amp plain as day blended in with the plexi...I don't think he ever used it live...to my knowlege....George quit useing the Rockman, but I think that was an awesome guitar sound back then...
I need to check it out.

I heard the same story about AiC "Dirt" recording process..

They combined 3 amps, and one was a little Scholtz Rockman practice amp - used for the high end of the blended track.
