Yes, However, God has given the born again Christian all power over the devil and commanded us (believers) to subdue the earth. That means we are to do the work as He doesn't have jurisdiction to do so. God works through people as does the enemy. Spirits need tangible bodies to "partner" with and the biggest (or one of the biggest) problems with a lot of the teachings in the church from all denominations is that God is in control and getting the people of God to think God will just go ahead and do thing (if it is His will) all while never realizing that the believer and God are partners working together. A quick litmus test beyond the first layer of thought sees this clearly. Is the "world" in alignment with God and His Word? Obviously not. If God really is in complete control of this world then who are we to wish to change it? It is just as God wanted. Since that is not the case at all it is up to the believer to act in the name of Jesus and get things handled. The believer is seldom taught this and just assumes if God wanted it done it would get done but how will the world hear if there is no preacher (in essence)? Mankind has forgotten their responsibility in the deal and become passive in acting on behalf of the Word of God. Faith is the currency of heaven and always leads a person to action.
