Yeah, I was meeting with the county property tax appraiser in their office about 15 years ago, and he pulls up an image on his computer.
It was a satellite image of my land. It was a very recent image because I was using Terraserver and Google Maps back then, and I had not seen an image this new.
He told me the state sends them to the tax office on a regular basis.
