That has everything right about NUNO tone that I hear.......nice clank, crunch, bite in the highs, yet a bit of compression on the closed and bent notes.

That's how my Rat sound into my amps! That MP1 sounds killer lll! I have always been curious about those things since they were all the rage!

I just bought myself a Musicaman HD130 for my continued Ed exploration. I'll be doing a write up when I get my 6CA7's installed and biased this week hopefully then I will give it another spin.

I also have to install new filter caps into my 67 badmaster then I will do a head to head with the Muscman!

You have tickled my ear to the MP-1 though lll.............

This clip has got that slight, mid-frequency phase shift thing going, and the "clank" in the upper mids.

Dist: just a hair up
Filter: 12 o clock
Level: 2 o clock

using the RAT as a "JustALittleMorePusherizer" (which also adds the killer natural RAT eqing to the tone).

Set like that, you're essentially using the RAT as a clean boost.
