What was Vivian using to boost his JCM800 Marshalls when he was with DIO? SD-1/Tubescreamer/EQ?

What pickup did he use then?

BOSS SD-1 or (prolly) GE-7 - either, not both at the same time

DiMarzio X2Ns for pickups

various quotes from various sources:
Vivian Campbell wrote:The first Dio album was written and recorded with my wine red Les Paul Deluxe that I bought when I was 15, and a JCM800. When we did the tour I used the JCM800 through Marshall 4x12’s and a little pedal and EQ to kick in for solos and to boost the mids.
Boss Super Overdrive SD-1 or a Boss GE-7 7-band graphic EQ (either, not both, to boost his signal) into a stock Marschall JCM800 (not sure if 2203/100w or 2204/50w), bought for him by Ronnie. No info on the speakers/cab, but a safe bet is that it was a stock JCM800 cab which I believe likely had Celestion G12T-75s – 75w speakers
les paul
dimarzio x2n
boss SD-1 or GE-7 (either not both)
marshall jcm800 (2203 or 2204)
jcm800 cab g12t-75s

I don't like it (the tone) here, but then again, I was revisiting things and dicking around with different configs (hence "futzing").
