That's one amp I would like to play in person. Years ago I think 1990 or so me and a buddy went into Akron Music I think and they had a VHT stack in stock. I plugged in and set the preamp gain to 8 like my Marshall 2203 and it sounded a littel buzzzy, I wasn't adept at higher gain amps yet so I mistakenly thought it sucked. I can't remember if it was a CL or and UL I didn't play it long.

Not sure if it's true I read VHT stood for Van Halen tone, it could be internet lore for all I know....................
