Bogner Helios Eclipse
I haven't played mine for a bit but plugged in today and got to play at nut rattling volume for about an hour or so and I must say....GLORIOUS! There is something to be said for the chug at bone rattling, pant flapping volume. I am always happy to play but louder is more better.

Sad but these days it's mostly in only your own home you get to open them up volume wise and seriously enjoy yourself.RockyStar wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 7:00 pm I haven't played mine for a bit but plugged in today and got to play at nut rattling volume for about an hour or so and I must say....GLORIOUS! When you're playing at mega volume and the guitar is about to take off uncontrollably it's like driving an F1 car around the track at 200mph trying to keep control of it.
Best feeling in the world as a rock guitarist.

Re: Bogner Helios Eclipse
I know alot of guys love their Ecstasies but since I like a more pissed off raw sounding Marshall the Bogner Helios is my favorite offering from Bogner besides the Snorkler. Bogner has a telltale compression and mids that are his trademark sound.
Congrats on punishing your ears with your Helios, it is nice to get them ringing sometimes...............

Re: Bogner Helios Eclipse
I agree about you comments on the XTC as I too prefer the grunt, raunch, & mid tops of a Marshall sound.harddriver wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 5:12 pm I know alot of guys love their Ecstasies but since I like a more pissed off raw sounding Marshall the Bogner Helios is my favorite offering from Bogner besides the Snorkler. If I were in the market for an amp I would immediately purchase a Helios.

Re: Bogner Helios Eclipse
Do you mean the Helios or the Helios Eclipse? I have the Eclipse.
Regarding the Bogner XTC, I have the old school classic with the metal grill and the chrome chassis. IMO, the best looking amp ever made. Sounds great on its own but throw an EQ in the loop and it is a beast of an amp.
