Cornford RK 100
I hadn't played this wonderful amp for a little bit and was able to plug in and have a real go on it at volume and man was it great! What a fantastic amp!

Re: Cornford RK 100
How much gain do these have? JCM800 levels or a bit more? What is the tone like, Marshall, Hiwatt, Laney?

Re: Cornford RK 100
I would say it has more gain than a JCM 800 for sure. It has a dash of Hiwatt clarity and articulation but isn't as stiff. You can back the gain down and easily get Marshall tones of all kinds. It does take a boost well. The gain is similar in style (not sound) to a Soldano. By that I mean not overly saturated, clearer gain with some openness to it. It is a full sound, nothing harsh or thin, brittle about it. Great punch and feel to it. Hope that helps clarify things and answers your questions. If not, ask away and I will do my best to help further.harddriver wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 5:02 pm How much gain do these have? JCM800 levels or a bit more?
