I don't think I would give this guy $500 dollars for a break this bad, I would venture to say a guitar will never be the same with a break this bad not matter who you took it to to repair it and the crack begins at the neck joint pocket and into the actual body wood. No amount of well place wood glue is going to repair the resonance lost once the integrity of the body was compromised but a giant crack.... NOPE not happening as far as I am concerned, I could be wrong but I don't think that I am.
