Yeah, I watched a couple YouTube videos on it too.

I've done a magnet swap before, but it's been prolly 20 years.

I don't really get into the guts of pickups that much - always scared I'm gonna break a coil.

That is a good little place to get all kinds fo stuff. I use it often due to my distaste for Stew Mac's insane shipping charges and high prices.

Clips recorded before and after magnet swap. Nothing was changed except swapping A2 mag for A8.

Did not even change input levels on DAW, so input level change could be assessed.

The tone has a lot more girth now.. punchier.

Not as thin sounding.
