Looks like he did a nice job building that for you.


I see some EH6CA7's sitting on the table..... :D Are they for your BROWN EYE SCIENCE GUY 50 Watter????? :lol:

They sound pretty close to my Sylvania 6ca7's and they are true beam forming element tube just like the originals. I like them as long as you buy them from a place that burns them in well. That was a few years ago, I haven't heard any bitchin about the newer production ones so hopefully they ironed out some of the early issues.

Yeah, when I started building this project a while back, I was still active on TGP, so I had a build thread on this amp going there.

I asked the TGP Brain Trust, "What tubes I should use in this build ?" Dave Friedman was watching my thread, and posted the answer..

Was a bit ironic, because this is a Malaysian clone of one of his amps. :D
