Tracking shows it will be here Friday.
My wife picked it up at our PO box this morning.
As soon as I replaced the entire patch cable system, I immediately noticed a slight increased signal strength and clarity.
Thanks for the review PLX...that's all I needed to hear...I didn't think Ossie made junk so I will be ordering 12 jack ends and not sure how much wire I want yet. My old mogami stuff is in good shape but I want to free some up and redo my EVH pedal board anyway most of them are 10+ years old. I have a couple of cheapos hear and there and they are getting shorts in them so this will free my good Mogamis for my other amp setups.PLX wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 3:46 amAs soon as I replaced the entire patch cable system, I immediately noticed a slight increased signal strength and clarity.
I even made a cable to go from the last effects pedal in the chain into the amp.
The kit was nice in that you cut the cables to whatever length you need and then just screw on the 1/4 jacks. The cable is also very easy to bend, and it seems to keep it's shape, as opposed to my previous cables which tended to pull the pedals all around if I didn't velcro them down.
The old DiMarzio patch cables I was using had been around for years, and I think they were introducing some capacitance into my signal chain.
The way they sell is like : 8 jacks and 8' of cable, 10 jacks and 10' of cable, or 12 jacks and 12' of cable., yadda yaddaharddriver wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 4:09 am ..I will be ordering 12 jack ends and not sure how much wire I want yet ..
