The average person who drops into Off Topic there occasionally will never catch on to the bullshit game they are running with the sock puppet accounts. Only people who read the site consistently and watch the goings on will see it.
To add to that, the mods and the fake accounts reaction to getting called out is always to try to turn it around on their accusers and start calling them "crazy" or "paranoid".
It's a real shit-show over there, run by a textbook narcissist; A toxic dump that would be completely dead without constantly being propped up by the little army of sock puppets account and mods bumping all the threads, starting dumb threads trolling everyone, and basically making it look like there's something actually goin on there, when in reality that site is a ghost town dump.
