Absolutely! Thank you for indulging my simple-minded ignorance in stating the obvious. I'll get out of here and into the gear sections. Believe it or not, that's what I come into these forums for. The gear talk. Here's to hoping activity in the actual gear and music sections of all these less visited venues positively increase from the trickle it is at the moment. I could be wrong about that, and if I am I expect to get called out on the error of my observations. If I get some invective rocks thrown at me because of it, oh well. Probably deserve it.
Sad to see the contemporaneous polarization here and abroad, and the existential angst and acrimony creep into so much around us. Even something as harmless as an online forum about music and musical gear is not immune.
Unfortunately says a lot about current society.
On a positive note though, and for whatever it's worth, I dig what you all are doing here. I truly hope it all works out the way you want.
Indeed; gear forums are a dying breed. Most are facades. And many have been hijacked by groups of people with no lives and no interest in the forum subject matter.
I can assure you we're here for the music firstly; everything else is secondary (but permissible).

It's as if that site exists only to be someone's tax write-off.
The way the moderators are running it is completely counterintuitive. Everything they do is the opposite of how you should run a business to make money.
And I swear if I live to be 100, I will never understand what the relationship is between this "Donnie" character and the two moderators there.
They are willing to burn down the entire fucking site to allow Donnie to use it as his personal playground.

First forum I joined was TGP. Then branched out to others.
I play a lot, but don’t play out. Used to at times though. I only frequent the forums during my work day. I don’t waste personal time with this shit.
OTC on riggalk.com is something I haven’t witnessed before. I dont even know what to make of it. Seriously.
