That episode was one I've seen play out on TGP as well..

A moderator who has seldom, if ever, reads the Off Topic forum and blows a gasket.

All the bannings and thread deletions were reversed within a few hours.

I tried to talk to him about the way he handled it, but he just brushed me off.

The very next day, they installed two new moderators over Off Topic.

I don't really have a dog in this fight. TGP is like the "Taco Bell" of gear forums at this point.

Very soon it will be the only one left standing, so all gear forums will be TGP (in reference to the movie Demolition Man (1993))

I have to agree with the admin here about what's killing these sites.. it's the angry turds who don't even play the guitar, coming into the Off Topic forums and ruining it for everyone.
