That's a new one for me too.

I have a lot of the boots from back before they were signed, but I've never heard this before

At times the amp sounded less aggressive than the actual show at the Pasadena Civic recordings....That's interesting...Different guitar or pickup maybe, no MXR 6 band.

Maybe he was still experimenting at these rehearsals. These rehearsals claim the date was 10/15/77 same as the show but the amp tone sounds like the Kiss demo tapes and earlier recordings IMHO.

This is supposed to be the actual show October 15, 1977 to compare the amp tones to the rehearsals, the amp has more hair like is heard on VH1, gain, aggressiveness.
