I didn't notice that, I thought the last vids he posted were of the Metroplex.

Yes... sad indeed...

Stuntdouble (Ben Wise) too.

That was a bizarre combat story, if you've never read it.

No.

I'll find the article for you, rather than paraphrasing it here..

edit: bah.. can't find the story in detail like I read it years ago. I'm pretty sure it was an excerpt from the book his surviving brother wrote.

Ben's brother, Jeremy, was a former Navy Seal and was working as a CIA security contractor when he and 6 other CIA employees were killed by a suicide bomber in 2009. The scene is depicted in the movie "Zero Dark Thirty", when the CIA 7 are awaiting a supposed "high value informant" to arrive at forward base for a meetup.

The guy gets out of the vehicle and detonates a bomb vest.

I read the funeral announcement that was posted on Metro, but I don't remember too much about it. It did not go into detail about what had transpired. So was Ben working as a contractor at that time or was he regular army? He was either special forces or green beret from what I remember, something like that.

I remember him posting while he was deployed from his FOB, I imagine the whole EVH things was a good escape for him.
