Paradox: We Live In An Age Of Unprecedented Guitar Gear Availability & Choice

Post by Ritchie's Party Hat »

But at the same time, we also live in an age of unprecedented amounts of apathy towards guitar playing and guitar players in general.

And we also live in an age of unprecedented amounts of self proclaimed..
guitarists
..who couldn't pull off a poor rendition of a Neil Young solo.

Remember when playing and talking about guitar and gear used to be fun? Remember when guitar playing took skill and hard work?

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

I like that there is plenty of choices to make when you're looking for a tone or effect.

But then again, it can be like choice paralysis, stimulant overload.
Similar to picking colors at Home Depot...

But if you can't find a tone or effect to your liking today, there's something wrong with you, the buyer.
It aint the gear!
