Post by lll »

"Doubled" - meaning manual doubling; lay down one track, then do another take of same track, then pan both L and R.

Using PLX's earworm Lynch Mob's "Wicked Sensation" riff (which for some reason I can't stop playing  )

Mono:

Mono with Eventide H969 applied:

Doubled:
The Democratic Party is a criminal organization and the enemy within of the United States of America.

The double tracked one sounds best.

When I listen to the isolated track off the record, I'm pretty sure he's double tracked it and used two different amps on each track.

Dave Friedman says George is one of only a handful of players still using the old gear.. old Marshalls, pedals, etc..

He is always changing his rig. Recently he was using a Fryette LXII power amp and some pedals.

PLX needs to start doubling down on doubling.

New exciting worlds of tone await...
