I got 3 spec'ed out, so I've done the research. Have everything documented.
I ran the start-up procedure on the 50 watt project today - variac - light bulb current limiter - took my time.. Got it up to 100VAC on the variac with good voltage at all test points.

Excellent news on your BE50 I mean AH 50....
At least it looks like you will be actually be able to get your hands on a choke that you want.

Re: Marshall 2203 REEEEEEEEEEE-work
I finally got all my parts in today. Valvestorm takes about a week to get your order to you.
Right now I'm rebuilding the DC supply circuits on my BE-50 clone.
After looking at the choke wires again, it looks like the insulation is all cracked and coming apart. This amp was made in 1989, and the choke and transformers are the only original parts left in it.
I might be able to just put heat shrink tubing over the choke leads and the wire is fine, but I haven't decided yet.

Re: Marshall 2203 REEEEEEEEEEE-work
Going to order the MojoTone choke for this amp.
The original choke is 33 years old and the two wires coming out of the choke and going into the chassis are abnormally thin, and the insulation is completely toast.
Not sure if this would explain the issues I was having with this amp, but it's gotta be fixed while I have the turret board out.

Re: Marshall 2203 REEEEEEEEEEE-work
I would say it would probably be your best bet there PLX. Maybe replace all the rectification diodes as well with some new IN4007's. I wouldn't use any FREDs or Fast Diodes. The IN4007's are pretty close to what was used in the 60's and 70's. The fast recovery diodes give a more hi-fi tone and feel.PLX wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:26 amGoing to order the MojoTone choke for this amp.
