Sounds good what amp model are you using?

Did you just add the Dean DeLeo section, I don't remember it being here before?

I asked the admin to add it earlier today.

I'm going thru:
Dean ML (Korean) w asymmetric humbucker A8 magnet
EP-pre
SVDS preamp
noise gate
EQ
Audiority® Heavy amp
Cab sim Royer 121 & SM 57 close mic'ed
Deelay® digital delay plug-in
EMT-140 reverb (dark panned L & R, and bright dead center)

I was researching what Dean used and turns out it's a Demeter TGP-3 into a VHT power amp, so I used a solid state amp sim to do the STP clips.

I am fairly sure the TGP-3 is a tube preamp kind of modeled off of a JTM45 if I'm not mistaken. I don't know what he used for cleans but the TGP-3 seems to clean up well with the guitar volume and picking dynamics.

Channel 1 is a Fender Bassman. Dean says he never uses that channel.

Channel 2 is a Marshall style amp.

Channel 3 is a Marshall amp with some clipping mods.

The tube set for the entire unit requires 6 12AX7's

To be honest I thought the STP ISO clip you posted sound smeared and congested, now in the overall mix it sounds really good but isolated not so much for my tastes. But the other YT clip I posted from Blake sounds really killer.

Now I could jam this tone.....

Yeah, his tone isolated sounds like crap.

It's like Dimebag Darrel.. his tone isolated sounds like a fucking chainsaw cutting corrugated metal roofing.

Same thing with Randy Rhoads.. those guys playing is phenomenal, but their tones only sit well in the mix.
