Pretty massive and modern sounding with tons of gain/saturation yet crunchy with great note separation and clarity IMHO......

Sounds great to me! I just wish they were more readily available and didn't cost so much.

It takes the guy three years to make one and took ten seconds to design that ugly logo.

Practically every Larry amp I've ever heard sounded killer.

Eddy does a fantastic job at capturing what the Dino feels like and more importantly sounds like. And remember, this amplifier is from the early 90s, almost 30 years ago… The updated Dino sounds even better.
Yes, they are very rare and they take a long time to get but at least with Larry, you do end up getting it.
He builds spectacular Amplifiers, not only the sound, but the parts, the blood, sweat, tears and heart that goes into it, all the little details…
The term ‘work of art’ has been beat to death but the Larry Amplifier is definitely the best example.
When you look inside these things, you just stare with your mouth hanging open.
If anybody is ever in the Toronto area, contact me, you’re welcome to come over and try my Dino. I wish more people could experience the amplifier in the room.

Larry's joined the forum!
Now he can tell us directly about how desirable his Unobtanium™ is.
As I said earlier, I've never heard a bad-sounding Larry amp.

Indeed it is, brother.
It happened very-quickly. I invited Keith yesterday and he in turn invited Larry.

Wonderful, I hope he feels welcome here and can call this place home. He will certainly be treated with dignity and respect.Monkey Man wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 3:51 am Indeed it is, brother.
