Jesus....I remember the first time I saw this insane practice was on Lockup and inmates were doing this shit...that idiocy didn't faze me too much because those places are full of idiots but they are also full of all kinds of nasty shit like staph and anything you can think of since there are so many IV-drug users and plain nasty people. I was at a private prison near the end of my unpaid state vacation in Bridgeport, Texas and in one block these two guys were running a piercing studio out of their cell...idiots were piercing their noses, eyebrows, and who knows wtf else - I'm sure this has taken off there, as well.

Yeah, I ran a ministry at Lopez State Jail in Edinburg, TX a couple of years ago, and I saw human behavior and living conditions that people simply would not believe.

Every prisoner was addicted to methamphetamines, but they would use anything they could get ahold of to "get high".

It was disheartening because these guys would attempt to use the Gospel as some kind of hustle, but none of them actually believed, or had any faith. It was really a harsh awakening for me because I met several men who knew the Bible - I mean.. they had read and studied the Word, but after a short time I realized they did not believe a word of it.

It never touched their hearts.
