I did everything you guys said.

I wanted to select the pickup I wanted, so I took my time and did lots of research. Glad I did because the Jalen FW pickup is a perfect fit for that guitar. It's like it was just meant to be in there

The RAT pedal was a fun project too. It was really cool to try all the different chips in it, then wind up using the 'metal can' LM308.

Did you try the LM308 flat plastic IC chips in it compared to the metal can one? So you preferred the metal cap one best then huh?

I tried the whole slew of them, I bought every chip that was said would work in this circuit.

Every time I would put that metal can IC in there it just had something.. I don't know.
