This reminds me of the discussion and somewhat argument I was engaged in with a younger person about 12 years ago over the fact that there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet - I repeated the alphabet several times and they kept saying "you're forgetting it's x...y...n..z" - it was after the third or so time I said "what are you talking about? Yes, it is x,y, and z" and they went "YES!!! X,Y,N,Z! You're not counting the "N, Z!" I couldn't believe it, and this was a person that had gone through private schooling, not public school
