I remember I was 18 and it was the summer of 1991 - my friend Russell from high school was working over the summer in Crested Butte and had brought this older man from up that way he had befriended over the past few summers working up there to get a couple of pounds of herb and they needed a place to crash. The man's name was Richard Earsley and he asked me if I had heard of the New World Order - he told me of that and many other things I thought at the time to be outlandish and insane. That was over thirty years ago and both he and Russell are dead, but nearly every single one of those things he told me that I thought he was so crazy for believing have come to be true.
