Chris Holmes' Jackson Star & Randy Piper's BC Rich Pipes Guitar

Post by Watson503 »

I always dig these kinds of videos and they seem to be getting fewer and farther apart with all of the bullshit and insanity going on in our world. Here's two to shoot you back to those better times - two of the first album WASP-era guitars, namely Holmes' Star and Piper's "pipes" guitar

If you look at old pics of the Holmes guitar you can see that brass block under the bridge is a later mod, and the bridge has moved away from the fretboard a lot so I wonder if intonation was an issue before or after the mod ... fucking killer looking guitar

Such cool guitars and a great band back then.
I still listen to Live and in the Raw.

Cool for me recently learning about Chris letting Ed borrow his Destroyer!
