Trannys in India band together in the equivalent of street gangs - bizarre times, indeed

These are "Hijras" i.e Third Gender. They are a social/political force in India. Run around in gangs. People are scared of them because they have power in Indian mythology (Rama gave them powers because they waited for him at the edge of the forest during his exile). They show up at birth celebrations and weddings and start dancing in front of your house. If you don't pay them to leave, they curse your baby/future baby with becoming a Hijra. They also run other extortion rackets and harrass/threaten/sexually assualt/dance at you in the streets.

Also they do their own DIY surgery involving castration. Rumour is, they kidnap homeless children and turn them to pump up their numbers.
