The tone, while in the ballpark (the original is woodier, less woofy, more crunchy), is a great tone regardless. It sits in the mix very well.

Agree.
He's using the whammy bar on that track, so I had to use my Dean ML with the JB pickup and Floyd Rose.
Probably could have gotten closed with the Super70 pickup.
I spent a good deal of time A/B'ing my tone here against the isolated guitar track, so it sounds 'close' to me.
