Based on what Kehew has said in interviews, I started panning the reverb center and it sounds right to me.

Reverb center? Yeah for many/most VH1 tracks.

ATBL is an outlier though. If you listen to the GH track or tune itself for ATBL and pan wide L, you'll hear guitar, delay repeat... and very miniscule amount of reverb on that side. On the clip I made, I panned the reverb to 75% R channel. Guitar was 75% L channel, with "studio" 1/4" tape delay same (75% L channel).

Eruption of course is guitar in the middle, reverb middle, stereo studio 1/4" tape delay (kept lower but brought up during the tapping part).
