That's like the account over on TheGearForum.com that posted this track that was this high-tempo rock track. This was during one of the "Do Something Challenge" things they were running. And they were encouraging everyone to collaborate with each other.

I pm'ed this account and was like, "Hey can I solo over this track you posted?" and post it here as a collaboration. And he said, "Yes".

So I do that, but in the process of trying to also learn the rhythm figure to his track (out of curiosity, because I really dug the sound of it) I started to realize this could not be played on guitar. It just wasn't possible. It was in Phrygian Dominant, and was at a really fast tempo, but the chord changes were not possible at that speed.

The more I listened to it, I started to realize it was a fuckin' MIDI guitar track he assembled and posted to this competition. The changes between chords were so fucking clean.. no finger noise, no string noise.

yeah, remeber a couple years ago when the faggots over at TheGearForum.com started that whole Do Something Challenge, they started it by coming over to Rigged-Talk and using this account here to post a clip and trying to recruit users to come over there and post..



this account was also posting fake midi guitar that was all gridded-out in a DAW. Go find this guys YouTube account and listen to his shitty death-metal band. no way he was able to pull of that playing he was posting in those clips.

This makes perfect sense because - all of the Instagram, Giacomo Turro guitar-fakers that have been outed recently all play these styles and were miming to a MIDI guitar track in their videos.

It's sad that this sort of bullshit has now made it down to the level of these dead-ass guitar gear forums.
