Operation United Front — Kansas, Missouri agencies led a successful multi-state human trafficking bust
Operation United Front rescued 47 victims and sex workers across 12 states and led the arrest of 102 people. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said "The goal now is to provide a victim-centric approach, focusing on getting resources to those rescued and prosecuting the traffickers."

Some 139 cases involved human trafficking and 59 cases related to sexual exploitation, the Interior Ministry's secretary of state Chou Bun Eng said during a virtual meeting. "During the crackdowns, our law enforcement agents had arrested a total of 291 suspects and rescued 721 victims," she said.

DES MOINES, Iowa – A 12-state human trafficking operation coordinated by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol led to 102 arrests and identified 47 victims. Operation United Front involved simultaneous state-level human trafficking operations throughout the day on Thursday and into early Friday morning. The operation, comprised of state and federal law enforcement agencies, is believed to be the first multi-state operation of its kind.
