Does the bible teach Flat Earth? YES or NO
A MUST SEE video for Christians and those who are interested in what the bible has to say concerning the shape and nature of the place we call home.

No matter what altitude a plane flies at when at cruising altitude at speeds of 460-575MPH..... THEY NEVER ACCOUNT FOR THE CURVATURE OF THE EARTH. NEVER.....I believe this is worthy of a discussion at the very least.

Not sure if that's sarcasm, but when you ask people for proof of a curve, there is none. They can yammer about mathematics and formulas, but no actual visual evidence. It's like engineers... they do not account for a curve. Recently, there was an interview with a retired Polish astronaut, and that guy claimed the earth was flat... a massive flat plane.harddriver wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:05 pm No matter what altitude a plane flies at when at cruising altitude at speeds of 460-575MPH..... The Bible teaches a disposable earth, but not a flat earth.harddriver wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:05 pm No matter what altitude a plane flies at when at cruising altitude at speeds of 460-575MPH..... It's the same thing with the word "unicorn". The word is used in the Bible and people attempt to discredit because the "unicorn" is a mythical beast.
What most people don't know is that all the dictionaries were changed about 400 years ago. Up until the 1600's, when you looked up "unicorn" in a dictionary it said "rhinoceros".

Back in the 1950s (before NASA), encyclopedias even referred to a dome that covered the earth (the firmament)... and it was 1200 feet at the edge, around Antarctica. It went higher, of course, as it curved upward. Not sure how they knew about it... maybe planes could only go so high at that point, before encountering some type of barrier.

Well, the firmament was a sphere of water ice that encompassed the planet, in low-earth orbit.CoolGuitarGear wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:13 pm The only valid discussion forum on this subject:

It was made to melt during the time of Noah, and along with water brought up from inside the earth, was part of the great flood.
I mean, I'm no Bible scholar, but I study what Bible scholars say about difficult doctrine, like this stuff here.

Re: Does the Bible Teach Flat Earth?
I wish I could find the video of a guy asking every pilot on multiple flights if they account for curvature while flying or if things are flat.
They all answered navigation is done as if the earth is a single flat plane, period, each stated the world is flat according to their experiences. Take that as you may.

I can't find some of that fake NASA video I was looking for.
Wish I had saved it.
