100 Watt Heads and 4x12 Cabs
When we get back to this we will resume living again rather than merely existing.
Low wattage amps and 1x12 cabs sound a little soy to me. (kidding, kind of).
Am I the only one who prefers a cranked big iron amp running through a pair of 4x12's?

You get a free drink for that one... and not a soy latte with a double shot of estrogen like most men crave now a days.Monkey Man wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 9:24 am No brother.

Re: 100 Watt Heads and 4x12 Cabs
I prefer my 100 watters and my 4x12's. I usually run 3 4x12's in W/D/W and it is quite enjoyable.
I have a Mesa 2x12 Roadster cab with V-30's in it that I use in my Dimebag Randall setup. It's cool but it's no 4x12. it just doesn't push air.

Re: 100 Watt Heads and 4x12 Cabs
I have 4 Marshall 4x12's, 2 from 1978, 1 from 1979 and 1 from 1990. 3 with 12H-30's and 1 with 25 watt Blackbacks.
Not as many as some but I do love my 4x12's.

Re: 100 Watt Heads and 4x12 Cabs
I've had many good 2x12s but NOTHING and I mean NOTHING sounds and fees like a 4x12. I'll bust my back carrying one up stairs for a gig instead of being a pussy and hauling a 1x12 because it's worth it.
When I get the volume up it's like my nuts are banging her ass like when I get the speed going!
Some say a 4x12 makes their pants flap, I say fuck that, my nuts start to get bruised!
