It was always weird that you could place a plate of pizza rolls on top of the XBox and 20 minutes later they'd be piping hot..

I just thought it was a "feature".

Honestly, that is pretty scary. No wonder kids are so messed up being around that all day everyday.

Yeah.

I started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on my desktop PC last week.

Dodged a bullet on that one. ;)

I had to upgrade to a new internet modem for my internet service and my old one did not have wifi. The tech hooked up the new one and I asked how do you turn off the wifi. He said I don't think you can...

So after he hooked it up my computer speakers started humming with RF noise that they have never had. As I moved my hand over the bottom of the modem the noise would lessen and as I removed my hand it wold get louder and more intense as the WIFI backlight would flicker as it was sending a constant wifi signal 20-40 feet. As far as I know the 4g adn 5G frequencies have not been safety tested and I know with microwave Naval communications they have to clear the decks of personnel or they will be cooked during transmission receiving.

So I dug into the manual and there was a way to turn it off via the control panel and then I had to reboot the modem to keep it off.

After I turned the WIFI off my speakers stopped having that RF noise.

HD, try to get into the administrative menu of your router by opening a browser window and typing in 192.168.100.1 or possibly 192.168.1.1

The admin password is usually on a tag somewhere on the device. You might find the internal IP address there as well.

From there, you can usually config damn near anything.
