This never happened before, but after allowing the orange paint to cure for 24 hours, I applied one coat of clear coat.
90 seconds later a chemical reaction occurred, and the orange paint wrinkled up and peeled off - as if I has used paint remover.

I just looked at the 3 transistors I ordered from MojoTone.com for this project. 
They shipped me the wrong parts. Was supposed to be PF5102. I got three 2N5484's instead.
 
MojoTone said they'd re-ship the correct transistors Tuesday morning.
