From 2013 ($1800), the LP Standard "appreciated in value" by almost $90 a year.

10 years from now; following the trend:

$3500-4K for a LP Standard
$3899 for a LP Modern

(but you know, that $90 per year markup will undoubtedly turn into $100, $110, $120, etc)

BTW don't bother bringing this up over at Seymour Duncan User Group Forum though; some of the chuckleheads there can't even have an adult conversation, and the rest of them either won't admit it, or are in denial. Who knows? Maybe some of them are Gibson employees / stakeholders.

To plays devils advocate a little $1800 in 2013 in todays money is around $2,180 so given what inflation is in 2021/22 $2,600 isn't that bad
