What Are You Listening To?

When this album came out I really didn't pay it much attention - saw them on the Clash of the Titans tour touring this album and although I had seen them with Ozzy on the SOE tour and loved them live, I dozed-off during their set for a short while. A year or so ago gave this album another try and actually dig a lot of the tracks on this album, this being one of them:

I really liked the Worship album. You like it?

I really dig that album - that's one that I had heard from a few people when it came out how good it was and shrugged it off but listened to it and was more than pleasantly surprised at how good it was. In The End...that song is classic and there's just some great, great stuff on that album.

Last week or so Christian Munzner trolled the kiddies saying he was writing the third Necrophagit album haha of course some ate it right up

Damn, I bet they were great in person, from all of the videos I've seen they were a great live band- Obscura is another great band, great musicianship and songs which a lot of the tech bands lack.

Not related but this is one of the newer bands I've been digging as of late - High Command. They were set to tour this album right as the damn plandemic hit which really screwed them but I'd like to catch them when they get back on the road

They were absolutely exceptional live. That show was the greatest bang for the buck in a concert I ever attended. The bill was over the top with Necrophagist. Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse and some other band. They were good, I just forget who it was off the top of my head. Cannibal Corpse was on it and that was the best Cannibal Corpse show I have ever seen. They are always amazing but this night they were perfection. Great great night of music! It was a freak accident I even caught the show. I was on the road and having a pizza and planning on just heading back to my hotel to chill when these metal head kids came into the joint and were all excited about the show. We got to talking and I bought a ticket off them as somebody couldn't make it and they had a spare. The venue was a couple blocks away! Talk about lucking out, I should have bought a lottery ticket...lol.
